Rugby has the power to unite communities, instill discipline, and create opportunities for children and adults alike. In Livingstone, we envision a future where every child has access to a fun, inclusive sporting environment that nurtures their talent and passion for the game.
Where every child has the ability to participate in a fun sporting environment and realize their full athletic potential. A Livingstone that provides a better life for all the community through rugby.
Our vision is to open the first Livingstone Rugby Club. And develop a rugby culture and organised sporting opportunities for school children and adult administrators alike. In doing so support a number of community projects and provide local employment opportunities within the club.
In March 2014 a small group of junior rugby coaches from Sydney embarked on a charity based rugby tour to Livingstone Zambia. The touring party was made up of junior rugby coaches representing Mosman Junior Rugby, North Pirates Junior Rugby, Killara West Pymble Junior Rugby, Randwick Junior Rugby and Trinity Grammar High School. An Australian Rugby Union Senior Development Officer also attended along with ex Australian Wallaby captain George Gregan who was also the tour Ambassador.
Together, we can shape the future of rugby in Livingstone and create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
We aim to give children and young athletes the confidence and skills to grow both on and off the field.
Through coaching, refereeing, and administration, we provide employment for the local community.
By organizing matches, community events, and training programs, we are laying the foundation for a vibrant rugby scene in Livingstone.
